Tonya Depeo Gibbs

Tonya fell in love with Rocky Point as a teenager and has been visiting for more than 35 years. After nearly a decade as a Realtor in Arizona, she made Rocky Point her full-time home almost four years ago. Since April 2024, she has been proud to be part of the RE/MAX Legacy team, drawn by the exceptional service she experienced firsthand from Debbie and Alma when purchasing her own homes here.

With personal experience living in and owning multiple properties in Mexico—including beachfront homes and condos—Tonya brings a wealth of knowledge to her clients. She specializes in helping buyers and sellers navigate the unique process of moving between the U.S. and Mexico. Over the years, she has successfully sold residential, luxury, beachfront, commercial, and land properties. She understands what U.S. clients are accustomed to and guides them seamlessly through the differences of purchasing in Mexico. Known for going the extra mile, Tonya’s passion for open houses sets her apart; many of her listings are sold this way, and you’ll often find her hosting them on weekends.

Outside of real estate, Tonya is a breast cancer survivor and proud single mom to three amazing adult children (ages 31, 28, and 25), along with her sweet Mexican pup, Princess. She enjoys swimming in the ocean, beach walks, boating, jet skiing, snorkeling, traveling, and exploring the dunes on her Razor with Rocky Point’s local riding group. Tonya also holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, previously owned physical therapy clinics in Arizona, and has been a successful Airbnb Superhost, managing eight properties over the last seven years.
